CBSM offers a unique program that is both tried and proven in the area of training effective missionaries and church leaders. The heart of the CBSM philosophy is life-on-life mentorship as found in Mark 3:14, "And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach." At CBSM the training is inside and outside of the classroom. Through biblical methods and practical training, our students learn the practical aspects of total ministry. Lighthouse Baptist Church had a wonderful conference during September 22-26. It was a great blessing to see the Lord speaking to hearts in each service. Dr. Dean Hamby and Brother Jerry Nye were greatly used of the Lord to challenge the church concerning missions. We rejoice in have a world-wide impact for evangelism. To God be the glory!
Effective July 1, 2010, Columbus Baptist College became Columbus Baptist School of Ministry. The State of Georgia has claimed exclusive rights to using the word, “College.” Therefore, we had to drop the term from our name. Everything else remains the same. The same Biblical instruction, the same convictions, the same philosophy, and the same commitments. Annual Mission Trips
Each student participates in the annual mission trip taken by Lighthouse Baptist Church. The 2009 trip was to Puerto Rico, where we worked with Missionary Gary Ashley and his family. Click on the video below to see a brief overview.
